...concentrate on getting a defensive minded point guard. It is apparent that Francis will never be a good defender. So, when other point guards are lighting him up, we could move Francis to the SG and bring in the Defensive Minded point guard. Mobley is always a short term replacement at the SF.

    Off season needs IMHO
    1. A Small Forward (lewis or Odom)
    2. A Center with a jump shot!
    3. A defensive Point guard.

Kirk Hinrich or Juan Dixon. In that order. Kirk is a better shooter and a hard nose defender.

    No.

Is there anyone in the league who specializes in being a defensive point guard? Rudy would never play him, he is too much in love with Moochie dribbling out the clock to put someone else in.

how is it apparent that francis in his third year will not be a good defender? he is strong and fast as hell, he's got the physical ability to be a solid defender if he applies it. i'll say right now it's pretty bad but he can improve
