Boy was I furious last night. The Rockets seemed as if they were 20 games out of it. It was like watching an accident, you didn't like what you saw, but you watched anyways.

But, although it's very unlikely, I'm still holding out for the possibility of a total collapse of the Suns, and a 3 game winning streak for the Rockets to end the season.

    Suns
Apr 11 Fri Golden State 7:30 pm
13 Sun San Antonio 6:00 pm
    15 Tue @ Portland 7:00 pm
    16 Wed @ Seattle 7:00 pm

Golden State, they should beat...which would put them 3 games ahead of us. Then they face San Antonio, who has won like 10 straight (I think) and a Portland team trying to keep that 4th spot in the playoffs. The wildcard here is Seattle. Seattle (although more than likely out of the playoffs....) would have to keep playing even if for nothing. I'm not so sure if that would be the case with Gary Payton gone. Ray Allen holds our playoff destiny in his hands *indirectly ;)*

    By that same thought...
    Rockets face ...
Apr 12 Sat Seattle 7:30 pm
    15 Tue Memphis 7:30 pm
    16 Wed @ Denver 8:00 pm

Again, the Sonics really hold our future in their hands. If they beat us Saturday, we're done for. Out of the three teams we face, Seattle is the one most likely to do the damage.

Rockets need a miracle..., and I know it's like a 1 in a million shot, but hey, I'd rather think we can get in still than just give up. Stranger things have happened.

    Well, I'm out.

i agree with that you on that Miguel, there is that 10 % hope but this team is not only loosing they're getting trashed, they forgot how to shoot the basketball that's what concerns me and those 4 teams that Phoe. playing have all something to pla for, GS think they have slightly chance ( which they don't to make the playoff) then Spurs wants to hold that 1 spot and Blazers and seattle also play for positioning and to make it. There is hope but someone needs to make some shot.

Yeah, like I said, it's unlikely, but still possible. Here's hoping to the best case scenario.

whew....i needed about 19 hours. I finally came back to this part of the bbs....rockets.

WE need to win all our games, and hope the Suns lose 3.

....fat chance....how does a team expect to make it to the post season if they cant shoot better than Timmy.

i agree with what all you guys are saying...
we have a slim chance, but a chance. if the warriors can somehow pull one out at phoenix tommorrow our chances go up dramatically. we also have to rattle off 3 in a row, but we sure do need phoenix to do the collapse.

Uhh...Miguel. What is this all about? You're saying I'm not a real fan when I'm suggesting that the Rockets get better players and an actual offense system and for them to actually play defense and to get a qualified coach. LOOK AT THIS THREAD. lol. No offense...but see...yes. You seem very patient.

I'm too tired to remember what you're talking about, care to refresh my memory? Link to what you're talking about? :p

And whatever I said, was probably said without thinking, which I've probably done a lot the last few weeks. :(

    Anyways...yeah...

Well if the Rockets win out the final three games...whether they end up making the playoffs or not...I won't be as dissapointed as I am right now (after the past two pathetic displays of supposed bball).

But you know..the sad irony of all this is that if the Rockets had taken care of the weaker teams in the beginning of the season like they have done in the past few mnths...we would have already had the 8th seed locked up. Oh well, no sense dwelling on the past.
