Two teams I wish would fall into the ocean.

    Patriots will win.

Don't discount the Bolts! Revenge can sometimes be a big edge in a big game. Sure worked for the G-Men! I mean the Bolts are a much different team than they were when they last played. Rivers is demonstrating some playoff moxie. It won't be easy but, the Bolts weren't supposed to win at Indy either.

So the two teams that have been caught cheating in consecutive years make it to the AFC Championship Game, right? The Roid-freaks vs. The Spies. Gag me with a spoon. I'm rooting for a lousy game, and the winner to lose to the Brett Favre magic.

If the Chargers are healthy they can hang in there for 3 and half quarters. But I expect the Pats to win by 10-14 pts.

Your "for entertainment only" purposes early line is NE (-14.5) (49.5).

My advice is bet the under for the cost of your first borns orthodontia.

Or in my case..for the cost of a bottle of Meyers Rum.

Although I like the Bolts, I wanna see history made so I'm hoping the Pats pull this one out. I don't see them having a whole lot of trouble, especially considering the health of the Chargers.

Chargers Baby! .. as long as LT and Rivers can play.

Really though .. I expect the Patriots to win, but the Chargers will keep it close and it wouldn't surprise me to see them win if New England makes a few mistakes at the end.

    Ah what the hell ...

    Chargers win!

If Phil Rivers plays in this game, I hope he gets smashed. I didn't even think he was good enough to talk trash. Yet he flaps his gums.

Obviously this Patriot machine is going to the Super Bowl. I want to see the Giants play the Patriots!

You may not like Rivers, but he has played one really good game, and one great game. That second touch down pass he threw yesterday was one of the best passes you will ever see by anyone.

if san diego is healthy, they have the best rb and te in the league, and they have one of the best linebackers and a great young corner. They were a 14-2 team last season and they have upgraded in talent. They've won 8 in a row. Why people don't give them a chance, I don't understand. I think they have the best shot of any team to beat the patriots.

    My Prediction...

On 4th down with mere seconds remaining... Shawne Merriman sacks Tom Brady to give the Chargers the ball back with a 6 point lead. Then, in a display of roided-up exuberance, Merriman rips off Junior Seau's head and punts it through the goal posts all while doing his epileptic sack dance. On the next play as Rivers prepares to kneel down and seal the victory, Roid-ney Harrison... not to be outdone, comes shooting through the middle and blindsides Rivers who didn't kneel down right away because he wanted to stare at the crowd and shout a few things at Brady to prove how awesome he is, even though he just went 19-40 with 3 INTs. As Harrison b****smacks Rivers, the ball flies 30 yards into the backfield and is picked up and returned by...

Bill Belichick... who then lays a nasty stiff-arm into LT on his way to the end zone, a stiff-arm so nasty that Vizio immediately cancels its endorsement deal with LT, leaving Dwayne Wade is the sole owner of the "Worst display of attempted acting in a commercial" award. With the game tied with no time left, Belichick opts to go for 2 and sends Mike Vrabel out in the shotgun... Vrabel takes the snap and fires the ball backwards and there is a mad dash to recover. Doug Flutie then rushes out onto the field out of nowhere picks the ball up at midfield, bounces it on the ground and drop-kicks in the game winning PAT from 60 yards away. The Patriot faithful rush the field in great joy, but in the process trample both Kevin Garnett and David Ortiz to death... and sports order is restored.
