My friend had ask me to make a simple webpage for his upcoming wedding. So, I was just seeing if you guys could give me some advice on what softwares are out there to try that are easy to use. I'm a CIS major just I have never dealt or work with webpage design before. I just remember some friends using frontpage back then. thanks,
I believe they're closing this fall. But he could probably find another good site if he does a search on GNN or OpenText Index.
Just send them to brides.com and let them build it themselves. What, too busy to point-and-click? http://www.brides.com/myweddingplanner/new/
Building a web site is easy. The hard part is building one that's worth a crap. I'd say you're better off hiring someone to do it, especially for something as important as a wedding.
I highly recommend you to just sign up for wordpress.com . It is probably the easiest and fastest way to create online presence.
here you go man..this is what everyone's doing these days. http://www.mywedding.com/ my friend who knows nothing about computers did this. http://www.mywedding.com/robandjolinda/index.html
That looks like a pretty good option as long as they don't mind using something that's not original or specific to them. I know a lot of people are super specific about all details of their wedding, so that's something to consider. If they do want something original, then I'd definitely avoid WordPress.
