Looking to buy a grill this weekend. Perhaps some of you bbs grill men can point me in the right direction, as I perfer the opinion of seasoned pro's rather than some possible mole on eopinions.com.

    My needs:

I will be using the grill frequently but lack the prep time charcoal grills require. Plus, I hear that some gas grills have trays for charcoal for certain occasions. So I think a gas fueled one is best. Which leads me to ask which is preferable Natural Gas or Propane??? What are the advatages and disadvatages? Is one fuel more expensive than the other? Is there a taste difference?

Though I will be grilling often I won't be grilling in volume. I don't plan any 20+ grill parties, 5-7 people max. Also, I don't want a grill with any cold spots so an even distribution of heat is a must. Durability/warranty is very important. My last grill oxidized in certain areas when I left it out in the patio. So it's stainless steel this time around. Although, I hear that in stainless steal grills you might burn your hands turning the knobs.

Finally, I don't want one of those $1000 plus supersized bad boys. I'm looking to spend $500 - $600 tops. Maybe a tad more depending on the circumstance.

    Thanx in advance.

I got this one a few months ago and have been very happy with it. I like the stainless look. I also bought a $20 cover to protect it from the elements.

We've got the one below and it works very good, better than expected actually. LOVE the warming tray and you can cook a ton of food evenly on the large surface. Great grill for the price.

    Link.

It's a propane and I love it, and no...I've never had a problem with burning my hands on the knobs. I've slow cooked for hours and the knobs always stay cool.

That's the exact one I was looking at. Guess I'll get that one then. I like the look of it too. Lots of storage on the bottom.

When I was having some work done on my house I had the contractor run a natural gas line to my grilling area. Great decision. Natural gas is much cheaper than propane and no tanks to mess with. Although they burn at different btu's the grills reach the same temps.

    Sweeeeeeeeet!

I've got a New Braunfels smoker and (acquired from my folks since they just moved into a highrise) a Brinkmann gas grill. I grill with the gas and smoke with the charcoal and pecan wood. Best of both worlds.

get a Weber grill....good heat distrubution, built like a tank, and awesome warranty. they are pretty pricey but well worth it. i think Amazon might still have 1 penny shipping on all their weber grills.

They have a new one out that's 4 feet in diameter.

I can't afford it, but man that's an awesome grill!
