As many of you may know there are websites in which you can get free movie screenings such as gofobo.com, but some require codes to obtain those passes. Lets us share those codes on this thread.
I got a pdf file for Resident Evil 3D for Thursday 7:30PM at Weslayn I uploaded it to Google Docs, hopefully the link works https://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik=3c4ceea8ab&view=att&th=12ad3f10cdb3850f&attid=0.1&disp=attd&zw and I just got an email for Easy A at Studio Movie Grill at West Rd/Highway 6 for this Wednesday the 8th at 7:30pm, let me know if u want it, its an email you just have to print out and need to get there early (they start handing out wristbands at 6pm)
pretty much, with movies going around $7-10/tix (before the 3D/Imax inflation) and watching it before street date isnt too shabby. I'd go to them more often if I didn't have night schedule. Most advance screenings u see are sometimes a day or so before street date, but Studio Movie Grill has movies usually weeks before it comes out, I remember they showed a sneak peak of The Proposal 2 months before it came out June 09. EDIT: http://www.setmovieclub.com/passH.htm Midnight screening of Devil at 11:59pm on 9/16th btw, another site I go to for free screenings, most are you just have to print the passes http://www.setmovieclub.com/home.html
I only go to about two or three movies a year, just doesn't seem worth it to me. I'd rather hit up a comedy club, for the same price you get a lot more value.
true, but I'm a movie buff, I have to have the movie experience, I know most people wait for Blu-Ray now with all the movie home theaters but its just not the same for me. If its a movie I really need to see, I'll pay for it. Most cases I'd try to catch the early morning shows at AMC or Cinemark that has it for $5. More recently I've been going to movies more now, not sure why..... I hit comedy clubs also, but usually get hooked up there also and the 2 item minimum sucks.... in most cases tho, its hit/miss for the unknowns I see beforehand, but if I know the comedian, its always a good time
That's cool, most of the new films just aren't doing it for me. I do love documentaries, so I will cough up the dough for some of those. I mainly use the comedy club for dates. Especially first dates, it really, a-hem, seems to open everything up.
