Yesterday, I met a woman who has a clinic for animals (particularly horses, birds and reptiles) and teaches classes on animal health. She has 25 acres out near the Woodlands and helps with animal rescue for Montgomery County Humane Services. Anyway, she has three rottweilers and has to part with one. She (Zena) was a rescue. She is a VERY VERY sweet 5-year-old who is best described as a couch potato. She came right up to me and was very sweet. She treated very badly by her previous owners though she shows NO ill effects of it now physically or emotionally. She has all her shots, is in perfect health and has been spade.
