Adopted this beautiful girl today from the spca. Anyone know what this breed could possibly be? They said lab mix.
My random guess is a Rottweiler/Shepherd/Lab mix. Take it with the smallest grain on salt, I'm no where near an expert. Good luck! She's adorable.
Cute Puppy. I agree with the others. Looks to have some Aussie Shepherd in her. Maybe some lab, maybe some Rottweiler.
Definitely Rottweiler in it, agree with the Rottweiler+Sheperd notion. Should be a loving and intelligent dog that also wants some physical and mental attention.
Congrats. Purty dog, looks to have already bonded with you. Interesting that the SPCA appears to be toning down the chance of a Rott mix in the dog. Rotts (mixes) can be great dogs, and good to see you got a chew /play toy in the basket.
Because I have had a few labs in my life and this does not resemble one. I definitely think its rottweiler/shepherd mix.

Agree, and major congrats to your household. Wonderful thing to do. You're right to not trust the "lab mix" from SPCA. They are always using that line, especially to disguise rot-mix and pitbull-mix, which people are less likely to adopt. (And nobody really knows unless you run the dog's DNA, so there's no harm done really.) That dog is really gorgeous. I'm about to go walk our dog. Best part of my day usually.
