    seriously...

i'm watching a really good movie on oxygen right now. "babyboom." for those who aren't familiar, it's about the chick who inherits a baby after the baby's parent's died or something. the lady was one of the higher-ups in a company, couldn't manage work and being a new mother, quit her job, and started a homemade applesauce company. hmmm... i need to see if there's a soundtrack for this movie or something. they were playing this song that i really liked... "all of my life... it comes down to... you and me running out of time. i got to find me a better understanding. and were holding on so tight... together... all of my life." good tune.

anyway, every time that i've turned to one of these two channels i've never been disappointed. there's babysnatcher, hand that rocks the cradle, sleeping with the enemy, enough, and other made for tv movies that aren't well known.

even though they're all about "a chick's struggle with the world" or something, they're all relatively good flicks.

admit it, mofos, ... these channels aren't as bad as some guys make them out to be.

    :D

edit... by the way, the chick's name in the movie diane keeton. good actress.

No they're not all that bad.

Screw that, WE is where it's at. I watch reruns of 2 guys and a girl and they show movies like "Live Nude Girls" where you can see Dana Delany have a fantasy where her panties are pulled down and some mob boss spanks her and Kim Cattrall has a flashback where she's wearing some llingerie one piece thing that has a thong and her boyfriend leaves her and she cries and begs him to stay. It's supposed to be pathetic, anyways, a teenager from the neigborhood stops by to collect for Green Peace and as she's about to hand over some cash, she jumps his bones. Pretty cool.

WE? is that another "chick screwed over by the world" channel or something? hmmm... i'll have to check it out.

the channels aren't that bad y'all. if you can watch any made-for-tv movie on nbc, cbs, or abc... you can watch these. you don't have to hand over your nard holder to your wife or gf or anything.

Spike is where it's at...even if that is just for the CSI twice on weekdays. Then there's the MXE shows that I so love.

As for Lifetime, that channel portrays such a warped view of men. If a women watched that channel exclusively, she'd probably live under the assumption that 90% of all men are rapists, kidnappers, stalkers or wife beaters (or any combination therein). I can't stand that network.

The other 10% are cheating husbands some of whom are married to 2 women at once - and their wives all look like Nancy McKeon (Facts of Life) or Judith Light (Who's the Boss).

They stink, no seriously, I mean it from the bottom of my heart...

If I am not watching sports, then I am watching either CNN World or Spike TV (I love the MX Japanese show, and I like their "Powerblock" Sunday segment), or HBO movies.

TNT & TBS sometimes have good reruns of Law & Order and a few other good shows/movies.

The only good thing that Lifetime has is Unsolved Mysteries - one of my all-time favorite shows. But I don't even know if they still show it as it has been awhile since I have watched it on that channel.

Never watched Oxygen and don't care to.

Diane Keaton is a great actress and I find her to be unbelievably sexy (for an older woman) to me in a quirky way. I mean she is one of those women who doesn't look like a model but there is something about her that makes you want to be with her, well at least for me. :p

My wife likes watching movies on those channels a lot. She knows they are pretty stupid, but it's like the Steven Seagal movies for women. They suck, but they just can't help but watch them.

I call them the Meredith Baxter-Birney Network. Judith light, Tracey Gold, and Nancy McKeon are also always in these movies.

I have been sucked into a few.

    This one was good:

"I know My Name is Steven". It won a Golden Globe for NBC in 1989.

Steven Stayner, a seven-year-old boy, is kidnapped by Reverend Kenneth Parnell, who brainwashes Steven into thinking that his parents don't want him anymore. For 7 years, Steven endures the sexual assaults of Reverend Parnell. Reverend Parnell kidnaps a 5 year old boy and Steven overhears what the man is telling the little boy and realizes that every thing the kidnapper told him about his parents was a lie. Steven is arrested for kidnapping when he takes the 5-year-old to the police station. During questioning, he tells cops his real name and helps put his kidnapper behind bars; meanwhile he is reunited with his family and has to adjust to being back. Steven has difficulty adjusting to the rules of his real family and decides to move out.

I spit beer all over my buddy's carpet last weekend watching that show. That is hysterical.

Apparently, the red hot vibrating butt plug is one of the better sex toys of 2005.

The way she plays with the sex toys while she is talking is too funny.
