Given recent alleged rumblings weve heard from the Franchise. pick one. 1. try to Trade Steve Francis for Andre Miller 2. try to Trade Steve Francis for the #2 pick in the draft. 3. assume everything will work out, and Steve will sign the extension and learn to love Yao Ming.
even though i'm a bit bitter with francis, i think it's premature to write him off like this don't you?
Steve will be fine once Yao gets here...Rudy will make sure things get aired out and worked out. What I don't get in this poll is why would people rather have Williams than Miller? If Stevie did go,wouldn't it be better to get the sure thing rather than the 95% sure thing? Am I missing something here? Clue me in.
I doubt trading steve for miller is possible. Would you want to play for Cleveland? Why would steve want to play cleveland? Would Cleveland want Steve if he was going to leave after one year? Steve isn't going anywhere because in Houston he can make the most money and have a better chance at winning. I seriously doubt has laid down an ultimatum over this issue. If your Chicago, do you take a guy who will get the max extension next year, or a guy who will make rookie money for the next 4 years? Steve is staying, and I'm sure he wants to, contrary to the "insider speculation" from certain people.
Francis to Cleavland is perfect. Cleavland wont max Miller b/c they feel he is not max worthy. Francis is. Plus they can take Wilcox with the 6th pick and make francis HAPPY, B/C its all about making francis happy.
I'll take that third option and turn that into a once Ming gets settled into the offense and Francis realizes the sheer talent and potential that he posesses.
