Just imagine if that actually happened. Six NBA players show up, split up into 3's and then pick a couple of regular ballers to square up 5 on 5. I'd probably piss myself.
One of my boys got to play a pick up game with George Gervin and some of the other spurs in the old days. He was an all-district PG for one of the high schools in San Antonio. Well he told me that he couldn't get the ball up to half court without getting his pocket picked. He said is was the coolest and most embarrassing moment of his life. It was like an episode of pros versus joes.
That was awesome ! Back in the day at the Post Oak YMCA in Houston we used to play with Allen Leavell, Calvin Murphy, Robert Reid, and Rodney McCray. Allen Leavell was so quick....and Calvin was ...unguardable....and only about 5'7" tall. DD
