I called for Landry over Scola a couple of games ago (he couldn't have played any worse to start the season). Obviously I don't know as much as Adelman. Scola's a keeper :p

All that proves is that *you* don't know what you are doing.

The Scola move was way more Morey than anything.

Yes compared to you, Adelman knows more.

Compared to the little general he knows nothing.

Based on the last 3-4 games, Adelman doesn't seem to know much about coaching defense, which is why the Kings let him go.

The thing is I expect the defense will loose up a little bit since JVG focused so much on D and Rick Adelman is not a typical defense coach.

But the problem is offensively Rox doesn't seem to be much different that the past, other than couple guys receiving the ball from high post. There is not a lot of cuts and backdoors. They still rely on a lot of one on one and there are very few easy shots. I expect more from Adelman from offensive end and so far it is not happening. The offense is totally malfunction without T-Mac, just like JVG era.

It's true, and rolling your eyes won't change that fact.

May be some of you guys don't think having a top-notch defensive team is important to win it all, may be you're interested in more of a Suns/Kings type offense than anything else. That's fine by me, but I think it's apparent that these Rockets aren't as good defensively (they aren't terrible defensively, but probably more so 'middle-of-the-pack' than anything else).

Unfortunately, we don't seem much better offensively either. So nothing gained thus far, although -- granted -- it's still early in this 'grand experiment'.

It's a shame that whatever trade value Alston may have had is gone now.

But at least Stevie's legs will be a few games fresher than everyone else's come playoff time!

I'm really happy to see the bench guys getting into the action. We need to try more combos and see whether we can field different lineups for different opponents, like a good soccer club.

Adelman felt it was time to give Steve a shot, so he did. We will see if Francis time or AB's short stint does anything to the rotation. Also we might see Scola starting. He seems to have toned down the foul problem.

    Heroes fans rule.

    Sorry to derail the thread.

I agree with the sentiment... wish more people believed it.

Funny how people are starting to realize how good a coach jvg was. Yet all the board knew more than him last year.

Would have been nice to see a dual coaching partnership of Adelman/JVG. Our defense has lost a lot since last yr.
