why not change your rotation when you're playing against dirk? why stick wif a set lineup? why can't you be more flexible? why do you have to start a certain someone?

Now I know I am going to get bashed. Shoot.... :p

Until Battier is healthy we won't have much versatility.

If Battier were available, I'm sure you'd be seeing a lot of Battier on Howard and Ron on Dirk.

The Rockets won the game so he clearly knows what he's doing. And, considering we're without one of, if not our best, one-one-one defender, Shane Battier, I think he did a pretty good job in trying to contain Dirk enough to get a win in Dallas.

yeah he had no idea what he was doing, dirk scoring one 1 in fourth and that one a BS tech call on artest

oh and the rockets won on the road, a home opener (even harder) on a second night of a back to back by double digits against a rival.

    yeah adeleman knows nothing

    for reelz.

You should read the posts I see on another forum from a guy who is trying to type a Hawaiian accent.

Back to business: The team is 2-0 with a hobbled Tmac, no Battier and a brand new starter. There is no reason to complain or second guess the veteran coach right now.

I remember that Luis struggled to defend him last November. Dirk's a tough cover. A 7-footer with the offensive skills of a small forward. Chuck or Ron is probably our best option.

Well, Nowitzki scored 35 of his 36 points when Scola was guarding him. It was after Scola picked up his 4th foul and Chuck Hayes defended Nowitzki that Dirk stopped scoring. So I guess it is valid to say that Adelman should have put Hayes on Nowitzki earlier (I'm a big Scola fan, but I think Hayes' defence is very underrated).

It feels good to beat the Mavs :D !

Adelman starts with his best 5 combination. As the above posts said, without battier, who do you want to put in your starting 5 to match up with Dirk?

If what you said is true....i'll be pissed! Why would you continue letting Dirk killing Scola when you have Artest, the greaterst defender in the world that can guard him?? Dirk is the only person that can do anything for Dallas and almost upset the Rockets.
