Apparently 82games thinks so. The pair of Brooks and Landry is the worst player pair on the Rockets (-10.9 per 48 min). I imagine poor defense being a key reason for this. Yao and Artest is the best pair on the Rockets (+11.7 per 48 min).
Actually, Paul Davis looks like a pretty effective player whenever I see him this season. Pretty good rebounder and defender.
I agree. That's why sucka's like Daryl Morey are general managers for professional franchises, while you're teaching us the game of basketball on an internet basketball forum.
That is a real tough one. The stats would be misleading now since Battier just came back, but by the end of the season, I think Artest + Battier would be the best with Artest + Scola coming in a close second.

Both Alston and Landry play very bad defense. Play them together doesn't gain much offense over Scola and Alston, but that makes the defense much worse.

The only way to add Wind (Brooks) to fire (landry) and make it work is if you also add Earth (Yao). Earth, Wind and Fire baby !! DD
Since water is within all of us, I think Water should represent the Rockets' team chemistry. Right now it's too salty.
