It would probably be great if I had a mouse (I'm using a notebook computer with touch pad).

Okay... after an adjustment period of learning to play with my touchpad, I made it through the 20 days.

    Fun game!

What exactly does the backup weapon do? I finished the game, but still not sure about that. Do the helpers ever use anything other than handguns? Which weapon was the best for you?

I like the with the really long and straight clips.

Ok, I sat down and beat the game. The final weapon (Baret?) is awesome. Hit the space bar to swap weapons. Some are good for up close, some are good distance weapons.

Other than the Baret, the sawed off shotgun was my weapon of choice.

Tip: Concentrate early on finding other survivors. They help you rebuild your fortifications and search for other survivors and guns. And shoot a few zombies, although they aren't a huge help.

Wish they would do a sequel to this game. Very well done.

I kept the chainsaw as my backup in case any zombies got too close and they never really did. As soon as you get the Uzi you can pretty much make it to the final night with that weapon and whatever backup weapon of your choice.

Everything after the Uzi sucked. The automatic rifles and AK47s sucked because you can start "firing" rounds before the reload animation finishes, and even though there are no bullets flying at the zombies, it still takes away from the bullet count.

Uzi and Chainsaw for me.. even when I had no vacancy I still went out searching for a couple hours for survivors. Having them is probably the biggest help. Not as hard as I thought.

A pause button would have been nice.

Is Uzi the one with 25 bullets? It doesn't seem as good as the one with 50 bullets per magazine.

the Uzi is alot better it reloads alot faster and seems more accurate. While the other is a little more powerful, its not worth it because it takes longer to reload and isn't as accurate.

The barrett, has 10 shots. But its pretty much 1 shot kill, and it goes through the zombies so you can take out atleast 3 with one shot.

I got screwed because I didnt find any new weapons or survivors my first two nights.

    Makes it impossible after that.

Plus my freaking cursor keeps disappearing making aiming impossible.

20 minutes my ass. there's no way you are killing the zombies off in one minute or less per level/day.

Here's a bug/tip. Get the 8 shot shotgun as your backup with one of the fully automatics as your primary. While shooting full steam with the auto, switch to the shotgun. It shoot off all 8 shells at full machinegun rate. This will pretty much clear out everything in front of you if you are in trouble of having the wall breached.

What does it look like when the wall is breached? Can you still defend?

How do you look for stuff during the day. It seems to just skip through the day and go right to the next night.
