    what would Ike Hilliard cost in terms of compensation?

    I like Burleson, but I don't want to lose one of our third round picks on him....we just have to many holes to fill.

    Nothing much. Ike Hilliard sucks now, and would be a bellow average #3 WR.

    Including a second WR. A third rounder for a proven 2nd WR is absolutely well worth it.

    Hilliard is an excellent possession receiver. He had 7 or so TDs last season with the Giants. Manning would pass it to him when Burresss was double covered. I don't see how Hilliard wouldn't be an improvement over Gaffney.

    Ike Hilliard's 8.1 Yards per Reception average throws a red flag for me. He is a good route runner and has good hands, but I want a #2 receiver that can stretch the field.

    I like Sam Cowart a lot. He was very good with the Jets and the Bills. He was a big contributor last year to the Vikings when their defense turned the corner. I'm kind of surprised that Ted Cottrel is letting him go.

    ROFL. Hilliard had 1 TD last season, 0 TDs the year before that, and 6 in 2003.

    Hilliard's average yards/catch, since 2002, have gone from 14.3 --> 10.1 --> 8.9 --> 8.1. He's had exactly 5 catches over 20 yards in the last 3 seasons, including only 1 last season. No thanks.

    I guess that Burleson is a little too expensive for the Texan's taste. It probably wouldn't seem as bad if we didn't sign Sage. Also, we're looking at another FB?

    Yeah, what was I thinking? I have no idea why I was excited about the Texans bringing in a talented player at a need position. Let's look at another fullback instead!

    Seriously, this is getting ridiculous.

    They honestly have about a year left of my patience. This is getting absurd.

    I would pass on Ike. I just don't seem him making much more of an impact.

    Burleson might be a good addition and would be worth a 3rd rounder IMO.

    None of them are good enough to possibly play for the Texans except for guys they have no shot with like Orlando Pace, plus there's lots of sleepers along the O-line that haven't woken up yet, plus the New Blocking Scheme is going to rock......

    Don't forget about Bosselli. This might be his year finally.
