"According to the Nielsen data, only eight NBA teams had linear year-over-year household increases this season. The top five in gains were the Cavaliers, Trail Blazers, Celtics, Rockets and Pistons to go with a bottom five of the 76ers, Bulls, Suns, Jazz and Heat. The main takeaway, considering Commissioner Adam Silver recently said local game broadcasts were almost “trapped” by cable, is that three of those top five teams (the Cavs, Celtics and Pistons) ended the season with their RSNs on a cable tier, while two of the bottom five were on free, over-the-air channels (the Suns and Jazz), offering evidence that on-court performance still drives ratings -- regardless of ease-of-access."

My concern is the league office badly wants a west coast team to advance with the Lakers and Clippers knocked out. On the other hand, if they want more round 2 games, that's more likely with the Rockets than the tired Warriors. The Warriors don't really match up well with the Timberwolves and I could see that going at most 5 games with a few blow outs. Rockets vs Timberwolves would probably go 7 games with a bunch of closely contested games in my opinion.

I get it, i see Warriors fans hate him, but thats one shady ref man. It feels like he's always biased for one team or another.

Let them play. When the Rockets are allowed to play, they're one of the most entertaining teams in the league. The Warriors play alright, but people watch mainly because of Curry.

if the league was smart they would start trying to cultivate the next era of stars. KD, Bron, Curry are all 40 or almost 40.. you can't keep relying on the same stars. The new era is here. League needs to start cheating for the rockets. starting tonight.

also the warriors without curry gotta be the most dry ass, most boring team on the planet.. I cant believe rockets got a game 7. this gsw team should have been ****ing swept.

rockets got sengun, amen, jalen, bari. who would you rather watch? who in the hell wants to watch moody, quinten freaking post and ****ing podz?

the nba needs to be serious and cheat for the rockets.

Rockets can be hard to watch when the offense has stalled, but GS outside of Curry is a bunch of turnovers and bricks mixed with Darth Mule non-basketball antics

I was worried about facing them because they had our number for some reason, but just comparing rosters, we are easily the better team…they play a bunch of bums and scrubs…they give dudes like Buddy Hield minutes

Rockets-Wolves would be a very competitive series…Wolves would do GS worse than they did the Lakers

Tony Brothers is not a good referee for either team involved, he’s just straight up bad.

Thanks for the reminder that the NBA is fixed. I constantly and consistently get my hopes up then am reminded what a bullshit company the NBA is when the playoffs come around. It’s like a cuck staying with his wife when she’s stepping out every week. I just love the Rockets too much to quit them.

Unfortunately he falls for flops all the time. I still remember him falling for Kirilenko's flop on Scola in Game 2 of the 2008 first round against Utah, wiping out a Bobby Jackson made 3 that would've tied the game late.
