What's up with Mbenga?

 

I feel a little bad for Morrison, but just a little.
He was pretty good in college....obviously very emotional.
Would have probably been better off on a awful team that would have had some interest in potentially developing him, and getting some playing time.
On the Lakers....he was destined to fade away on the bench.
But then again, he has two rings now.......so.

 

Does Morrison have zero confidence?

or is he really just that bad.....

There is some talent deep down in there somewhere.....

I think he's just too intimidated by other players.......

 

that was nice of Kobe to give some props to Morrison and help him save some face.

Adam can ball he just needs to be put in the right system. Alot of people where ready to label Redick as bust be he was able to show some flashes this year.

If I was in Adam's shoes I would ask for a buy out or trade and try to get with the suns or warriors.

Remember he tore his ACL and was out over a year, so that's had a lot to do with it...he did have a rough start his first year, but i think that wasn't unusual for a player that's not very athletic. Once he came back from injury he was traded to LA, so he just needs to start getting some PT somewhere. He also did well this past summer league i believe.

 

Morrison looks like a damn bum. Bet if he had a drink sittin there on bench someone would put a dollar in it. Its just sad that a guy like that has two rings and someone like Charles Barkley or Reggie Miller has nothing. God really does have a sense of humor.

 

first off, that had me cracking up, poor Adam lol.. at least sasha did contribute tho, hes a role player Kimmel thats about the amount of production they give and it helps the stars on the team..

just seein that clip refreshes my memory of how weird a cat kobe is, him growin up in Italy made him a different kinda cat

 

Yeah, that second year really messed him up and then the Bobcats bringing in Larry Brown the following year didn't help either.

 

agreed. the list goes on and on of great players dersiving rings. there should be a rule in the nba that you have to contribute for the ring.

 

That whole interview was pretty funny...fisher actually had a great line when Jimmy questioned why he left to the locker room after he seemed to pull a groin muscle, and said something about fisher checking on his testicles. Fisher replied "i just wanted to make sure they were as big as i thought they were".

 

I wouldn't mind if the Rockets signed Adam Morrison.

I may be in the EXTREME minority on this one, but I think Morrison could do well in the right scenario.

I don't know.....I know college ain't the Pros, but still....I thought Morrison was a pretty talented player in college and I thought his game would carry over to the NBA.

It hasn't so far, but like I said, maybe he just needs another chance somewhere.
