I loveeeeeeeeeee it. So I sprained my ankle really really bad about 3 months ago while I was running drunk on the street trying to hop to the sidewalk. I literally ate $hit but the only thing that was messed up was my ankle not my face, hands or anything. Anyhow my ankle was like 3 times the size of the other one and I obviously couldn't walk and my whole foot was swollen black. even the toes! So I originally thought this type of injury would just take a month or so to heal. After a month and half I finally go to the doctor to get X-rays. She tells me nothing is broken (I knew it wasn't but I went just to make sure cause it was taking so long to heal) she then goes on to tell me you should be healed in a couple weeks. 2 weeks turns into a month and a month turns into almost 2 months before my parents recommend the magical treatment known as acupuncture. Before this I tried to be careful not to walk on my ankle too much, I kept it wrapped most of the day, iced it and was takin a but load of ibuprofen. So I go in to take an acupuncture shot for the first time 3 weeks ago and I was sweatin bullets cause I'm afraid of needles and didn't know what to expect. After the 30 min treatment I felt better right away like magic! I've since had 2 more treatments since then and Finally as I'm typing this I have full range of motion on my ankle and there's ZERO pain I had my last shot 3 days ago. I can't gloat enough over how amazing acupuncture is. ... I truly feel if I would've never gotten these shots I'd still be laboring around in pain. I took running, walking for granted. Not being able to walk without pain, run or play ball for the last 3 months has been hell. I cannot wait to go running again and get back on the court ! Anybody else have similar results or stories with acupuncture?
I've had back problems stemming from an injury doing squats since I was 15. I went to an acupuncturist yesterday for the first time. I feel no different. Then he told me I "had" to take these herbs from him that were an additional 40 bucks. To me it is nothing more than selling firewater.
