"And the award for best nut goes to... basso!"

“Yo basso, I’m really happy for you, I’ll let you finish, but Macadamia has one of the best nuts of all time. One of the best nuts of all time!”

I want to sleep if you are awake
    Still making believe
That you aren't at all crazy
And if you don't believe that I think you should
    You make me so proud
Still you love to think you have always been this way

    But you're all wrong

And you only sleep, when you've lost cause
Well I still believe that the cause was always me
And if you don't believe I think you should
    You make me so proud
Still you love to think you have always been this way
Well I'd love to think you will someday feel the same
And you love to think it will always (always)
If you still believe that it will always be this way

    Well you're all wrong

i could give a rat **** about the slur against Sam, but that you feel comfortable using "jackass" in this manner, is really no different than using "gay" as a slur, and is indicative of at least some discomfort w/ the donkey/burro community, if not outright disdain.

You have insulted donkeys and burros everywhere and you particularly owe an apology to those living legacies of the great American West, the wild burros...

    [IMG][IMG]

Why do you hate burros? Or is it that you just hate the jacks for stealing the jennies from you?

Not surprising and the Senate has voted to cut off funding while the Census bureau has cut ties with ACORN.

I think ACORN should be investigated over this particularly the DA's in Baltimore, DC and NYC should be looking into if those chapters have supported criminal activity. That said I don't think we can yet say that ACORN is a corrupt organization. Four moronic employees who ACORN has fired doesn't make an organization with tens of thousands of people.

"ACORN has been in legal trouble in several states with raid after raid on their offices by officials looking into voter fraud. "More than 30 ACORN officials have been convicted of fraud and new allegations of fraud are surfacing by the day," Johanns said. "It's wrong to give tax dollars to a group with multiple convictions of undermining our democratic process and our laws. So, I'm introducing measures to stop the federal funding of ACORN."

The voter fraud issues have been addressed previously but just taking your article I would still say that 30+ doesn't equal the whole organization of tens of thousands especially when from what I have heard that these people weren't executives but instead overzealous lower level people.

Anyway using that logic then Batman Jones other thread would have validity that the 18% of Republicans who think Obama is the Anti-Christ is indicative of the party as a whole.

I don't recall every reading that this fraud has ever been actually linked to false votes being cast. Registering fake voters, while stupid and wrong, is, in reality, fairly harmless.

I honestly don't care if they lose funding or whatever, but the "OMG ACORN stole the elections!!!!11" crowd is barking up the wrong tree.

On page 8 of your link the crosstabs clearly show Batman's numbers are correct. You're looking at the 8% included in the overall poll, but Batman's original post and thread title are talking about the percentage of self-identified conservatives.
