Hi everyone, I don't post much on this thread
but ive been keeping up with this site since 1999

My older brother works at the Houston Medical Center and had a conversation with one of the Rocket's team doctor's. According to that Doctor, TMAC will need to get microfracture surgery and could be out ATLEAST one year, probably more.
TMAC is currently looking for a second opinion from another doctor before he announce's this publicly.

I'll let everyone if I hear anything new.

Well if this is true, then at least Tmac and the team can move on.....

And guys, this poster has been here 3 years and has only 27 posts, my guess is he is telling the truth.

I ate dinner at TMac's house the other night. His butler told me that he doesn't need microfracture surgery.

Now its my word against yours.

    Yup.

    Keep Ron now for sure.

And now, trade Tracy and hopefully his expiring contract off of 2010 looks attractive to some teams.

Can his salary come off the payroll if this is career ending?

Are we going to have a Darius Miles situation on our hands?

I love people who automatically assume that this Poster is lying. Why would he get on here and risk the punishment from you guys if he was just making something like this up????

Jesus Christ you people are brutal.

EVERYONE on this forum could be lying, its a freaking FORUM, built to harbor OPINIONS.

    Lay off.

And if TMAC is done at least now we can just move on and not have to worry about his "game time decisions" anymore.

If it is true, Tmac may have a very small patch of missing cartlidge area on his knee, lots of people have those and can play with it, maybe TMac can not, and will need to have the cartlidge restored.

Microfracture works, but there are other methods too, they can regrow cartlidge in a lab and then sew it into the knee, supposed to get you near 100%...

Either way, for the good of the organization AND Tmac.....just got to move on...and do whatever it takes.

I will go ahead and say that this is not true even though you may be telling the truth. If he does have the surgery its because he decided to quit.

maybe that's why his damn knee hasn't improved/strengthened one damn bit after playing on it for a few months.

Save it. If he's got the balls to post it, he can take the criticism. What are you his grandma?

I say we drop tmac and start flushing $20,000,000 down the toilet.

Of course our team doctors are hacks...

If he needs microfracture surgery he's done. Completely. He'll be working for TNT by the end of next year.
