I was heading to class just now and I got stuck into traffic, it was pretty bad. I figured the reason it was moving so slow was because of re rubber necking. Well I don't blame them, the accident was on 45@crosstimbers right before the 610 ramp. And that's where I saw a body covered and blood around the area. The officers covered it pretty well, but it was pretty obvious. Crazy thing is I didn't see the cars involved in the accident other than a small white car which couldn't have been any of the police officers or firefighters. Anyone have the scoop on this? I'm sure it will be on the news, if not I advise you not to take 45S right now. I did see the shoes, they were still on! Take that Dane Cook!
I would guess pedestrian, i.e., some fool tried to run across the freeway. EDIT: Bingo. http://www.click2houston.com/news/25022062/detail.html
What's with people trying to cross the freeway these days? Seems like every day there's a pedestrian injured/killed trying to cross a busy highway/freeway in or around Houston.

Sad. My brother's Jeep this past Saturday had a tire-blowout-then-crash this past Sunday on I-45 and Tidwell... I dread driving through this freeway now.
How stupid do you have to be to try and cross a freeway? It's natures way of thinning out the herd I guess. In Houston, we have exits like every 1/4 of a mile. I know it really sucks to walk all the way to the next underpass so that you can cross safely.
fyi I-45N southbound @ (insert nearest street here) sorry, but i was expecting the gulf freeway and not the north freeway tragic where ever it happens, anyway
A person died. Why do you need the "scoop" on this? Do you get some kind of satisfaction out of learning more about it? I don't understand the human nature of being curious about gruesome/painful death. Why is it psychologically satisfying to so many?
because it isn't something most people encounter on a daily basis, unless they frequent rotten.com or some other type of death image website. much like explosions in movies and violence video games, events like these have a surreal feel to them.
Yes, I get satisfaction from learning more about it. As a matter of fact from now on you can refer to me as, Hannibal Lecter. Just close the thread. I was just wanting to know what happened, and someone responded quickly. Obviously some are too sensitive.
