ab isn't last year, yao is playing 24min, battier is old, rox have no defense, no closer...yada yada yada. the sky is falling after 3 games. all you fools will be on the band wagon again when rockets start winning again. such little faith for a young team that's growing. even as much as talent the heat has, the same goes with them too. if you know basketball, you know it takes time for everyone to gel.
i mean seriously, you'd think the fans on here are bipolar. when the rox put a streak on, you'll be hearing how deep we are and how we can take the lakers.
Agreed. Lets all just calm down. We know the Rockets have a bunch of good players. Its a long season. Miami didn't look too great right away either. I would rather have them struggle early than struggle late anyway.
mos def. if it's near the end of the season and we're playing like this, yeah complain. rockets are 1 on the most unpredictable teams in the nba but i love the young depth on the rox.
Adjustments will be made, including working Damp into the rotation. We're just going to have to be patient. But not too patient, because the West is so stacked, that the difference between a 6th seed and 9th seed could be fewer than five wins.
I don't think many fans are saying they suck, rather, they say we aren't where we are supposed to be. We are an elite team disguised as a team fighting to chase the Net's record of last season. All in all we outplayed the Lakers, Denver and even the Warriors for 3 quarters in each game. Hell, with LA it was 3.5 quarters. We have the makings of a successful team, it's just we go MIA for about 7-10 minutes a game. Most of the critical threads on this board are trying to find the root cause of this. It isn't an indictment of the Rockets, its more of a audit of what's gone awry.

Oh definitely. Look at the new look Warriors that beat that Dallas team, or when the Rockets got Clyde. It's new parts and a new system. Last year was filled with so much uncertainty, who will be traded, is Tracy really going to be part of this team, will Ariza finally grow into what he promised he could be?... The list went on. This year, it seems like the parts are there, and everyone is doing what the need to, but not in sync. Part of the reason that no one wants to take the shot in the second half stems from no one knows who should take over and lead. We make frivolous turnovers because no one wants to make a dumb mistake (ironic? yes). In due time this team will come together.
