I started a new thread because I didn't want it to get lost in those other two threads. For all those who thought that it was such a classy move by the Yankees (or for DaDakota who thought it was a plot to win over the Astros pitchers come free agency), this is from MLB.com: Give credit where it's due: The Yankees are, no doubt, a classy organization. So it really came as no surprise that the Yankees sent over six bottles of champagne to the visitors' clubhouse after Wednesday's game, one for each pitcher who participated in the no-hitter. Only one problem -- the Yankees didn't send over the champagne. The gesture came from Astros traveling secretary Barry Waters, who arranged for the delivery.
Boy, what a PR gaffe that was for the Yankees. Even when they get no-hit, they still know how to get good publicity.
