My dad has an older Hewlett Packard and wants to add some ram.I know it takes PC100 DIMM....My ? is..will any PC100 memory work ?
more than likely... some older HPs needed special memory that cost more.. Check Crucial memory's website..I believe they still have the memory configurator online. It allows you to input the model and it tells you what memory to use. As long as it doesn't need any special kind...any stick of PC100 will work just fine. here's some links http://memory.shopper.com/?tag=mc&vf=mcn http://www.kingston.com/products/default.asp http://www.crucial.com/index.asp
