I'm really curious to see how this works out for McGrady -- it's worked very well for Kobe and Bynum.

Edit: posted before watching the video -- McGrady had it done in 2010 so he may be pain free, but he didn't regain his explosiveness.

Perhaps you missed the 08-09 season when McGrady was sucking because of his knee?

I like how they showed him in a Pistons jersey when they mentioned his "devastating injury"

Tmac was a very good player until the injuries hit. In the post season, he averaged 30.7 ppg 7.4 reb 6.7 ast vs Dallas 2005, 25.3ppg 5.8reb 7.3 ast against Utah in 2007, and 27 ppg 8.2 reb 6.8 ast against Utah in 2008.....Yes, he acted like a lil b**ch when he got hurt towards the end of his term with the Rox.

Too bad, Rox management failed and couldnt get him better more help than R Alston, D Wesley, J Ho, Battier (couldnt hit the open shot when open, big reason why we kept losing to Utah), Mike James, Stromile Swift, Luther Head, Keith Bogans, Ryan Flying Bowen

TMac, Scola, Yao, Battier, Artest, ABrooks, Lowry, Landry, Deke would have been pretty interesting. Too bad Tmac got hurt, followed by Yao.

Tmac was never the same after the injuries. However, Tmac was one of the best things that happen to the Rox. Remember the Stevie Franchise and Cat Mobley days? Then, we have this trash that i cant even watch anymore.

T-Mac gave Houston a lot of good years. You see the value of a very good all-star now that we suck.

well, he's sucking too pal, it's not like we're Cleveland and we lost LeBron to free agency.

We traded an often injured former all star, who had no movitation to play for the team and the coach. We traded him to a team who just wanted his $25 million off their cap so they can sign LeBron or Real All Stars.

Doesn't change the fact that this team still sucks.

doesn't change the fact the ocean has water.

    what's your point?

Tracy McGrady getting injections has nothing to with the Rockets. And yes the Rockets were a good team that made the playoffs when he was healthy, but that's all they did.

that's an absolute fact. No championship contender with McGrady. A contender actually makes it to the conference finals.

YES he is sucking NOW i think the posters point was that before he got hurt he did not suck at all .. loook at his numbers with the rockets BEFORE getting hurt.. be negative all you want but you cant change the fact that he was an awesome player before the surgery.

    facts buddy, it's not negativity.

How about the fact the Rockets never won a playoff series with him playing?

He wanted to leave to, so people here need to stop acting like getting rid of him caused the Rockets to be in this position. It was mutual.

It was a devastating knee injury that required micro-fracture surgery, although the horrible Rockets training staff wanted him to play through it which probably made it worse and shortened his career. That's what you're missing.

This thread is about Germans injecting Tracy with some crap.
Instead the TOFs are injecting clutchfans with crap.
