I'm kind of curious, is your job in any way related to television shows? It seems that you watch A LOT of TV shows. Or is it just a hobby type thing? I only ask because most people I talk to only follow a show or two because they complain about a lack of time to watch TV.
Last night was a very good episode. You will enjoy it. LOL I wish my job was in tv. I really don't watch that many. I watch Bones, LOST, Chuck and Castle regularly... and of course my basketball. The reason I can "watch" so many is that during the day while I am doing data entry I can play them on hulu or whatever while I work. I don't do well concentrating on just one thing.. my mind wanders to other topics.. so if I can work, watch a show, and listen to the radio (summer baseball - winter sports talk) I can stay focused and get more work completed. It probably sounds counterintuitive, but it's just the way I work. I do my best when I multi-task.
Will be looking forward to it. We have fairly similar tastes in shows, although I don't watch LOST and Chuck much. I do have Fringe, House, and Mentalist on my DVR list.
Fringe is one I enjoy, but I fell behind on it and I plan to just wait until the season is out in it's entirety and watch. I don't really like Joshua Jackson, but the rest of the cast on that show more than make up for him.
I've watched Castle pretty much from the beginning....initially because of a man-crush on Nathan Fillion, but now because it is a good show with a nice bit of mystery solving and humor, and because of Stana Katic. Daddy likes. Last night's episode was good. I knew something like that was bound to happen soon, as the show needed a more serious twist to keep it fresh.
Oooh haha. I just happened to notice because I see you in the thread for those tv shows. I guess it's probably because I watch most of the same ones. Well except for Bones
I love Castle. I like how it's a bit of a throwback to the comedy/mystery/romance type shows from the 80s (Moonlighting, Remington Steele, etc.). And, of course, there are scenes like this: "I'm thinking we'll rise again..."
Good stuff. Last night's episode knocked me for a loop. I agree with an earlier poster about dialing up the intensity of this show. That would take it to another level.
I watched one show ever.... So I thought this show was like the guy version of Murder She Wrote .... being that the main character is a mystery writer who helps out the local police department finding out motives and clues
I only watched maybe one full episode of Murder She Wrote... but I feel like this is a different beast. For one thing... the main character isn't an old chick. There are some really great scenes with Fillion and Katic that are funny - as well as some where Katic is smokin (loved the poker scene where she went in to save Castle) ... and my door doesn't even swing her way! The relationships between the characters of course keep the show rolling, but some of the murder/mystery story lines have been really good as well. I will admit I started watching because of Nathan Fillion, but I stayed because I like all the actors and characters. They started out a bit slow, but it's moving along nicely now.
The dude from Firefly and a cute redhead? OK you sold me, setting DVR. Crap I just looked her up and it turns out im a pedo.
