From CNN (CNN) -- Thousands of angry Afghans attacked perhaps the sole remaining symbol of the United States in Kabul on Wednesday, setting fire to the abandoned U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan's capital in protest of American threats to retaliate for terrorist attacks in New York and Washington. Arabic-language television showed protestors climbing atop the embassy building, abandoned when the Soviets pulled out of Afghanistan in 1989, and ripping down the State Department seal above the door.
Silly people! Don't they realize this is one of the few remaining structures left? And isn't this an act of war?
Why did we leave those purty US seals there when we left? Would have been cheaper to just leave an American flag there for them to burn.
I doubt if it's been abandoned for 12 years that it's an act of war. (Just waiting for someone to call me un-American)
Damn rm, you commie b*stard! Don't you realize they're going to turn our seal into bullets with which to fire at our boys!!! Oh now that I think about it... they probably are. Oh.
Go on ahead boys, attack an empty building and get it all out of your system. Yeah, thats it...OOOOOH, STUPID SEAL! Take that! UH!
is that dude wearing Nikes or Adidas? Jawa's... hahahah could also be the Evil Emperor? they think it's a mexican pinata! rH
Ooooooooooohhh, they attacked an empty embassy, they're so tough! Lets pull the troops out now, they sure have our number!
the pics no longer exist... (too bad) but as you can see, the Afghani's never were able to pull that huge American seal off of the front of the embassy... Instead of bringing their old ass rifles they should have brought a socket set, they probably would have had better luck with that seal.
