So, what did you guys think? I'm pretty sure this was his first time playing since I think he didn't play against New Orleans. He's quick and hes got potential but I still think he needs some work. 1-6 fg 0-4 3pt
eh he seemed a little nervous... which showed because all of his shots were too hard. clanged off the back of rim.
If were just speaking about tonight, JLIII looked better in the limited minutes he got than Brooks did IMO.
He missed a couple free throws, which shows that his rhythm was just off. Of course, Lucas was supposed to be a really good shooter last year as well, but he struggled. Hopefully, Brooks doesn't turn out the same way.
that steal and layup he had was just so damn quick. His post d wasnt too bad either considering his height
he got his shots at will it seemed like...those shots will fall. lucas surprised me a bit though, but not enough to warrant beating out brooks on the team. lucas just seemed very comofortable and seemed like his 1st year in the nba had really paid off. he is definately an nba player... but again, brooks shots will fall... im not worried.
I'm terrified that they have the same problem; the guys guarding them are just too big for them to get their shot off.
AB will be a non-factor on the Rockets this year. Too many veterans in front of him. Maybe by mid-season we will see something from him.
i'm not. the guy's nerves got to him in his first game. he is going to be a player. give him some time under vets like steve, mike james, and alston and he will blossom. i really like this guy's game.
those shots didn't fall but a pass to Yao and a steal still have me to believe in him. He has potential to be much better.
I thought he looked uncomfortable when he shot his 3's, he just jacked them up because he was open and it wasn't a good release like he usually has.. same problem as Novak. Hope its not a long term thing.
Not great stats but that was his first game so I won't grade him. Let him play more minutes and more games.
AB's got more range than Lucas, so he might be okay. But he doesn't have the lightning-fast release that Earl Boykins does. The odds are certainly stacked against AB being a good NBA player, but he has a chance.
He's not yet ready. However, I am sure he will be a much better NBA player than JL3. He is faster, has longer range and he is not a ball hog like JL3.
