Great. I will be seeing my second Viper game on the 15th against Colorado here in Hidalgo. AB being here will be a be great.
I think it's better that these guys are at least playing and honing their skills rather than travelling around the country riding the pine.
Landry...it's interesting that the Rockets don't just announce that both of them are going to the NBDL. I wonder what the Rockets have in mind for Landry.
landry is the most ready among the 3 of them IMO to contribute. there's no way brooke get minutes b4 luther.
If that's true, then good news. I'd like to see Landry do well. 1 game so far 4 pts and 2 rebounds in 4 minutes. Now if he could keep that up for about 20 minutes then he'd be like WOW 20 pts 10 rebounds
It's about time. I think that sending him down to the D-League is a good thing for him and the Rockets in general. It will give him more opportunity to play and iron out whatever rough edges he has rather than rot on the bench. It also will enable the Rockets to see what he can really do on the court. Hopefully he'll be ready to be called up by the all-star break and perhaps get a significant portion of Rafer's minutes.
Rafer/T-Mac/Francis/Bonzi/Head/James Brooks is the last man out at PG. He'd never see playing time in Houston so its better for his development to play him in the NBDL. Landry has a better situation. He only has Scola and Hayes in front of him. If either of them gets injured then Landry will get some playing time.
Just gonna get him in shape to help the big club after the post-December 15th trade which alleviates our glut of PGs. DD
omg i wanted aaron brooks to play for the ROCKETS! sigh i hope the other teams doesnt bring him up, he's ours!
