Sorry for reporting late, plus I do not have any pics. I saw Aaron in the Pearland Town Center. We were picking up our copies of Madden at the same time. I spoke with him for a little bit, either he wanted to get home to play Madden or he is not much of a talker because he really did not speak that much. One thing I noticed is that he is really small. I am only 5'7 so he could not have been any taller than 5'9-5'10. We were looking eye to eye. But hey he is one hell of a scorer and hopefully he can continue to improve and contribute to the Rockets success.
yeah i am like 5'7-5'8 and he is only an inch taller than me when i bumped into him at summer league. aaron is a quiet guy from the two times i have seen him at summer league he just usually go straight to his family and leaves doesnt really go by and interact with people. I respect that privacy if thats what he wants. I only caught him because he was leaving one gym by himself and i was walking into that gym through the same door I almost didnt recognize him because he was by himself. but quiet guy, I bet he talks though when playing madden
Actually he doesn't i have played a couple games with him and he doesn't really have much to say about anything but he hasn't played madden yet he is still on ncaa 09. then one rocket related question i asked him was about landry. I said" How long do you think it will take before landry signs" he said" I am not too sure a contract is very complicated too much for me to handle, but i'm sure it won't be much longer. I also asked him if the team was holding up on dorsey to see what happens to landry. He just said They just want to keep alot of free money just in case he does get a bigger contract but he is sure dorsey will be apart of the team.
Brooks isn't much of a talker AT ALL. He used to hoop on a regular basis at UO rec center and most of the players football/basketball that came and played were loud and would talk tons of trash (in fun for the most part) but Brooks never said a peep. He was this way in a smaller class I had with him where there's a lot of interaction among fellow students.
I got to shoot hoops on the toyota center floor next to him at the ticket holders convinction and brooks looked the same if not a lil taller than me and im six foot. you must not kno your height or something or brooks was wearing flip flops. i was literally trying to compare our heights and there was little to no diff. and the only diff. i couldve seen was him being a little taller than me. he really isnt that much of a talker though for sure, i was complamenting his pass on the night before and he just kinda smiled and said "yeah thanks man".
Hey cuz, your wrong, I saw Brooks on Madden on Wednesday. Oh by the way, this is a legit story. I know my cuz has played him in NCAA football recently. I played Aaron Brooks in NBA 2k8 on x-box live. He was the Rockets with a starting line-up of Yao, Deke, Battier, Mcgrady, and Brooks. Since he stole my hometown team, I told him I would do the same to him and I picked Portland. I had so many blocks on him it was crazy, but he is good, and pounds the ball inside. I think I won by like 6. Great time, and a great guy.
Well I'm not going to give it out. I will say this though, Aaron Brooks put the gamertag out there himself, in a video interview before the Vegas Summer League. Research it.
