I really dont' agree with starting AB. I like how our team plays with Lowry at Starting PG. If anything I would love to see Adelman use AB more of a Bobby Jackson type. Come off the bench and give us instant scoring and a boost.
He says they'll continue to share the PG role, but wouldn't outright say that Brooks gets the job back. It really just depends on how he progresses. As long as the Rockets are playing well with Lowry starting, I think he continues to start.
I like Brooks and Lowry, but I just don't think a Brooks/Martin backcourt can co-exist If we want semi-elite defense.
Whatever Adelman decides is fine by me, he knows more than anyone here. But hey, let's do this tired, stupid agrument again....WOOHOOO !!! DD
So you're fine with Brooks coming off the bench behind a guy who will never be more than CAREER BACK-UP? Good god man.

Adelman probably will stick with AB as starter, which is too bad, because AB could've been a nice bench spark plug. Expect Morey to make the decision for him if it comes down to it.
Look, Dave, we have gone over this 1000 times, you think your way, I think mine. Whatever Rick decides is fine by me, we need them both. I hate the argument becuase it forces us to put down other Rockets players and nitpick, when we should be relishing in all of their accomplisments. I like both Kyle and AB..... I am glad we are winning that should be enough..... Whatever Rick does in this situation, I am sure the other one will still play a ton of minutes. It is until you look at the records of the Rox opponents, then it becomes less interesting. DD
Rick and loyalty factor is screwing us all over. First signing Brad, then refusing to acknowledge (that while Lowry's status as a better overall point guard is disputable) that Lowry is playing out of his mind? Rick. ******* you. Oh yeah, and then there's this little ordeal of letting Chase get playing time...
Well, yeah but if Rick decides to replace Lowry with Brooks things might go south. If you believe in the "whatever works" method, then you should be against Brooks replacing Lowry in the starter position.
You can't platoon the PG position, anyone who has played basketball knows this. Your theory of playing whoever plays well that night in the 4th quarter is unworkable in practise. The team needs to know who will be the floor general during crunch time, what plays are going to be run, etc.. Platoon PG situations never work, that's why you never see any contending teams ever have one.
I still dont like Brooks attitude. Seems like is really bitter about his contract situation. He has been a ball stopper since he has returned as well. But it's only been 2 games. I agree we do need both AB and Lowry, but I would rather use AB in a trade rather than Lowry. The AB/Martin backcourt is not good. Lowry/Martin or AB/Lee is much better.
