Most writers around the Internet seem to have Brooks as the top MIP candidate. That bodes very well.

Why is Anderson Varejao is the top for Sixth man? Crawford should be the top but because Anderson plays with Lebron, he'll get it.

Ok, let's face it. Assuming the Rockets win every game left in the season, we'll be 51-31, and if we do that, we'll be narrowly making playoffs. It a heavy task, and it's no wonder all these sportwriters are putting off the Rockets.

akeem i wasn't talking to you dude lol ...ummm i think thats the only category a rockets player could win an award in ..unless they put ariza or battier in the top 5 for defensive player of the year which i doubt they will do..they will prob go unnoticed again this year

If we can make the playoffs, AB will win the MIP.

I am glad Brooks is getting the recognition. I take jabs at the little fella during the game, but he is a supremely skilled bb player.

Indeed, the only commonality among Brooks, Temple and Conroy is that they all have spent time in the D-League, because the last two are not even worthy of shinning Brooks' shoes right now.

I will say the Rox are only 3 back of the Blazers in the loss column so it isn't so far fetched however it will still take one hell of a run to succeed. Saying that, when ESPN makes assumptions like that it makes my head hurt. IF Roy or Duncan get hurt then it makes a predicition like that idiotic for the same reason you don't assume anything until at least April.
