when looking in the thread about Juwan Howard in hoop dreams i did a search for Yao for kicks and this came up:

The Year of the Yao

its in post production but its documentary of some sort does anyone know if this will be released and if so if it will be a limited release in theaters or straight to dvd

Makes sense. The whole phenomenon of Yao's first year is documentary-worthy. A study in the American psyche, no less.
