I will be the loudest mother****er you have ever heard during our home games. I will be yelling at the opposing team, I will be clapping & cheering, I will be jumping up & down.

I will not be cussing, disrobing, fighting, or flinging anything anywhere - you will not have an excuse to shut me up.

DO NOT give me dirty looks the way you do at regular season games. DO NOT tell me to shush or to sit down, or to be sedate in any way. DO NOT act the way you did during the Lakers series last year, where you fools sat on your hands unlesswe were clearly in the lead. DO NOT look at me as if I just slapped your grandmother when I yell to the ref that he's blind as a freaking bat. Do not get pissy with me as I yell at Cuban, telling him his hair looks like Jim carrey's in "Dumb & Dumber."

These are the playoffs - if you want a nice quiet environment for you & your schmoopy to watch a NBA game - STAY AT HOME ON YOUR COUCH!

Seriously, I'm tired of the country club atmosphere in my section during the games... I hope that the people who are sitting around me - who are fortunate enough to have nice seats to the playoff games - do not behave like the sedentary turds they were all season... This is our time to be loud, dress like circus freaks, and to get excited...

Yeah - I thought I'd warn people (not that anyone here would need it) after my experience during the Lakers series last year.

There I was with my brother, wearing Clutch the Bear masks & Rox jerseys, downing the crown & diets, and screaming ourselves hoarse AND PEOPLE WERE TELLING US TO SETTLE DOWN!

    WTF?!

We had seats close enough to be heard - so it wasn't a futile effort - but really does it matter? Part of the fun is just yelling because you're so damn nervous/nauseous/excited...

Anyway, we did look like freaks & we were loud, but I was seriously shocked at the number of people who would glare at us! What's more offensive to you - me yelling "Kobe sucks!" while he's shooting free throws, or the horrendous refereeing? Shouldn't your energy & anger be directed at the opposing team so long as I'm not acting like a Pistons fan?

I mean - okay the seats are expensive - and because they are you get an older crowd down there... but WTF are they thinking they'll gte at a playoff game? Hell, if you want to be in the stadium, yet insulate yourself from the noise/mess/crowd, get a seat in a lux box or at the restaurant!

I just hope that the Toyota Center next week provides the kind of atmosphere where we can act like nuts - in a safe way - and not feel constricted by the 60-year-old-sportcoat-&-jean-guy-showing-off-to-a-client/mistress-crowd that dominates the regular season at the lower levels of the stadium...

I had to apologize to everyone around me for my use of profanities during game 4 last year. I did the whole yelling the apology, but actually went up to the parents of kids because I really did feel bad.

To a man, they all said they were with me. Cheap seats rule.

My brother - someone who gets more emotionally invested in each foul, basket, rebound, etc. than anyone I know will be with me. Seriously - sitting next to him you'd think he got shot every time we missed a basket or a rebound. Drink & popcorn spillage are a constant concern in his presence.

Oh - here's hoping the stadium is all lit up in red again this year!
Can't tell you how exciting & how cool it was walking up to the TC last year before the playoff games!

Good for you Rocket G. I hope you 'accidently' spill your beer in some bored old dude's lap that's acting like he's watching an opera. :D I use to spend a ton of money every year to get great seats just to be in the quietest section of the whole friggin arena.
I say F#$K all those disinterested morons that look down on people trying to support the team...I mean seriously, WTF do they think seating on their asses and giving an occasional golf clap is going to do for our guys' spirits? Fans deserve those seats, not some suit with his thousand dollar girl for the night. Grrrr.

People are way too friendly attending sports events in America. Over in Europe, it's almost war like between soccer rivalries. It's an all day event for the fans there. We need organize fan club with uniforms, team songs, posters etc.

Since Houston swept the Orlando Magic to end the second NBA title run we call "Clutch City 2"; then I have the feeling that this current Rockets squad can step it up & sweep through this Dallas one dimensional act, and start this MOFO off right for Clutch City 3... 16 W's, 1 W at a time.

Get your brooms out Rocket fans for Game 4. Do not even let them Mavericks get a single game. Stay humble, stay hungry, but don't forget your brooms at the same time...

I am with you Rocket G. I ordered my Tix and should be getting them soon. During the playoffs I don't really care who's behind me, I will standing whenever I feel like it and cheer my ass off. I was at the playoff games last season and it was actually a LIVE crowd, completely different than the regular season. I sit in the upper bowl so most of the fans up there are the hardcore ones so it's all good. Good luck.

I will be there beating my drum as hard as I can.....Last year's game turned out to be one of the best nights of my life. Just cheering and winning....then partying all night with fellow fans. It was like a dream......this year should be even better

    Haha, funny post.

The worst thing is that I got in trouble for being too loud and cussing at the Rockets vs. Utah game. I had $14 seats and we were killing them.

I'm with you all the way Rocket G, section 428 won't have a moment of peace once tipoff rolls around, my friends and i guarantee it! (hand full of $1 bills)

It really is kind of a shock to come back home to Rockets games and see/hear the difference after experiencing the mayhem known as UT Football. Those games are always a blast because you know you're surrounded by crazy fans just as enthusiastic as you are, but when I get up and start screaming during some Rockets games, I just get funny looks...something you wouldn't expect at an arena like Arco, for example.

Here's to hoping all this changes once we start our beat down of the Mavs, lets rock the TC!
