When I get very very very tired at night my ears would turn bright run and I'd get a burning feeling. I have the sleep disorder narcolepsy, but I doubt that it has anything to do with it. Maybe it does. I read online that it could be due to high blood pressure, which I don't have. Does anyone have this or know anything about it?
When you doubt something medical, you're the one diagnosing yourself. Ever thought of letting a doctor decide that for you? Also, when was the last time you checked for high blood pressure? It could have become high only a certain time since you checked yourself. What if it was at the point just before being called "high" and the next day it became high? You could have high blood pressure today and not know it is.
I've had this since I was a little kid. I had my blood pressure checked recently also. I went to a doctor once and he didn't even know what caused it.
That's weird. I have the sharp pain in my chest every now and then and the doctor told me it was inflammation of tissue and muscle around my rib cage. Only problem is the pain last for about 30 seconds to a minute when it happens and it happens every so often. I highly doubt it is that, sometimes I think docs just take a guess to make the patient feel better.
That is weird. The only thing the doctor I saw ages ago on my ears told me was that the reason my ears were red is because they somehow fill with blood when I'm tired. He didn't know why.
it's weird beacuse he said that he had the same thign himself but that he didn't even know what caused it. Maybe no one knows. Either that or it is a ****ty doctor. It is just a pain in the ass because due to having narcolepsy I'm tired all the time and my ears get hot a lot which sucks ass. Maybe narcolepsy causes it somehow. Who knows...
Could be. The hospital in my town has a great sleep research center and I wonder if they would do some research on this to see if there was any relation?
Beats me. I had a sleep study done on it. I should ask my sleep doctor next time I go. I'm r****ded and always forget. It probably is nothing. I've had it for years.
I actually have the same thing, I just try to ignore it. Do you use a lot of caffeine products? I swear it started happening after I started relying more and more on caffeine to stay awake, I would feel fine as long as I have some caffeine in my body, but after a while, that's what would creep up. Maybe it's an side-effect/caffeine withdraw?
