I know it is sick to talk about players trade. But I don't think JVG could find a right way to solve ROX's ugly offense.

As I said many times, ROX need a good PF and backup PG.

How about Barry from Super Sonics for starting SF and backup PG for ROX.

CATO and Moo for Zach from Blazers. ROX deserve to pay cash to Blazers to compensate for salary difference.

Yes, ROX's starting-up pots are now:

    YAO
    Zach
    Barry
    SF3
    CAT

ROX struggle for playoff pots? No, The target should be NBA champion.

To be nice - And why would the Portland do this? And who for and why would the Sonics trade Brent?

Zach's untouchable, but Barry's not. Sonics have Allen, Ridnour and Flip Murray. If the Sonics management feel like those guys are their core and future, then Barry's the odd man out. That's not to say that they're actively looking to trade Barry or even that he won't resign with the Sonics next year, but Barry's available for the right price. Unfortunately, I don't know if there's anyone on the Rockets short of Yao or Steve that they'd give him up for. Sonics (fans) want to trade Barry with one of their bad contracts to for a good Kurt Thomas-type big man with decent offensive skills.

I actually like the idea of a starting lineup of Steve, Cat, and Barry. Bring JJ off the bench to rest Cat or Steve and give Barry Moochie's minutes. You can give Boki 15 minutes and then have the other four guys play about 32 minutes each. That's a pretty decent five-man rotation for the 1, 2, 3 positions, and Barry could help shore up our weaknesses with passing and court vision.

I'm hoping (wishing) we can somehow lure Barry to the Rockets in the offseason. I think that happens only if the Sonics decide they don't want him and we go after him hardcore. A lot of teams will go after Barry this offseason.
