Is this really true? Can hogs or pigs whatever grow to 6 feet? Thats crazy, i'm Brian Fellows. WILD BOAR IS KILLED IN MYSTERY ROAD CRASH Mystery surrounds a bizarre accident near Gloucester in which a huge wild boar was killed by a car. The rare six-foot black boar was struck by a red Volkswagen Polo on the Gloucester-bound carriageway of the A40 at Over, near the Over Farm Market at 11.40pm last night. The car first hit the boar and then careered into a lampost. The motorist - a man from Prestbury, near Cheltenham - was slightly hurt and was treated in Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for minor chest and ankle injuries. City police spokeswoman Kate Nelmes said: " The car hit a large animal, which is believed to be a big pig or a wild boar." But Rob Keene, who runs Over Farm Market, said: "These are very rare creatures and I know of only one in the area, which is owned by a man in Wiltshire. "When the police telephoned me at midnight and told me about the accident, I thought it could be our water buffalo. "But it turned out to be a wild boar and it is a mystery where it came from. "It is a big and dangerous animal and I had to use my fork-lift truck to move it from the road." Mr Keene confirmed that Ministry veterinary surgeons were on their way to examine the animal.
Can't wild pigs just get as large as domesticated pigs, assuming they can find enough food. Those domesticated pigs can get pretty damn but we supersize them quickly with corn. Ever seen the prize winners at the Houston Rodeo? This one looks big: http://www.bowhuntingsafari.com/wild_boar_full_size_picture.jpg
I've seen wild Russian Boars in west Texas of approximately that size. They're pretty darned scary. I recall a time that my uncle shot one between its eyes with a pistol (caliber? can't recall). It just shook its head and continued moving towards us. After we killed it, we found the bullet all mashed against its skull; it didn't even make a crack in the bone.
That is a crazy story, i'm starting to picture the hogs from the Silence of the Lambs sequel (forgot the name). Is that what these things look like?
LOL, I thought I was the only one that liked that SNL bit. Still waiting on the Seinfeld people to post about the "pigman" episode...
That thing is big and evil looking no doubt, but hardly 6 feet---Boring. I can't find any even close to 6 feet, but i've seen plenty of 6 foot mullet haired hicks.
I can only imagine what VW Polo looked like after the accident. A friend of mine once hit a horse with an old Fiat. The whole cab was smashed in like he had gone under a semi. A 6 foot boar must weigh at least as much.
Tracy Morgan is sorely underused on SNL these days. Heck, even that new black guy (Dean Edwards?) is on more than Tracy now. And big-bag-of-nuthin' Seth Myers is on nearly every stinkin' skit.
underoverup -- political differences aside...anyone who posts a brian fellows post is a friend of mine!
I'm Brian Fellows -That's the fuzziest bug i've ever seen. If i had a bug like that, i'd make a coat out of it. -All i'm sayin is that rat needs a hair cut, lookin all homeless and stuff. -That goat has devil eyes -I bet if that goat could talk he'd prolly say curse words, call people doo doo heads and sing naughty songs. HE'S WIERD! -Thats the biggest dog i've ever seen. I'd like to see him catch a frisbee! -Our next guest is a rabbit. I bet he can hear me whispering! -That rabbit cant cut his own hair, thats crazy. I bet if he tried, he would prolly cut one of his ears off. -THAT BIRDS A LIAR! IM BRIAN FELLOWS!Hopefully we will fix this in editing
I see wild hogs all the time. You can see them a lot over by NASA. I heard a guy trapped a 600 poud Russian Boar in Seabrook a few years ago.
There are no 600 pound Russian Boars in the Clear Lake/ Seabrook area...just a guess. There are some big arse Alligators around Armand Bayou and UH Clear Lake.
