You will not see this heart-stopping photo on the front page of the NY Times or on the lead story of the major news networks. The protestors put up the Mexican flag over the American flag flying upside down at Montebello High School in California . I predict this stunt will be the nail in the coffin of any guest-worker/amnesty plan on the table in Washington . The image of the American flag subsumed to another and turned upside down on American soil is already spreading on Internet forums and via e-mail.
aren't those pictures like a year old? if not, this has happened before. and, no, it doesn't change my feelings regarding our broader immigration policies because someone flew a flag upside down. it's the meaning behind the flag that concerns me more than the flag itself. oh, and i'm guessing you meant this for D&D!
Meh I don't even care about illegals, when I went to school with them it's not like most of them are college-bound if you know what I mean, well most of them, I know theres a bunch out there whose parents want them to actually be something instead of a government paycheck leecher, and those are the kind of people that should be legal Americans.

You guys want the Mexican opinion. Ok im an immigrant. Been living here since I was 3, Im 21 now. I think that picture is the stupidest thing ever. People being ignorant like that is ridicoulous and thats what makes this process harder. Why the f*** would the U.S. goverment want citizens that do s*** like that. But if anything is to be done it has to be done the right way. This government is far from perfect but the other one was so bad you had to escape. This is your country now.
