Same here. I wanted a veteran. Rookie WR's typically take at least 2 years to emerge. I think we'll see that happen with Patterson, Austin, Thompkins, etc... but we all knew the Texans took the most NFL-ready guy and it's panning out.

Is it bad that I kind of wanted Andre to sit this week to see how Nuk plays an entire game as #1 WR?

Yes, the Texans need every available weapon to beat the Ravens. No chances should be taken, especially since Fatty McKicker still has a job. The horror!

    Miscommunications happen.
Being the battlefighters kubiak and crazy eight are, i wouldn't be surprised if both just fell on top of the grenade. It won't be the only time schaub and nuke will have a miscommunication. the important thing to take from all of it is that schaub kept going back to him.

Keeping on pace of 75-77 plays, both andre and deandre will finish with well over 1,000 yards each. while O.D and graham eat up T.Ds

We need to block better on screens. We used to be the best at it just 3 seasons ago.

how long before we have a "y schoub only targets deandre?" thread. =)

why do they want him to start lifting? Randy Moss, one of the greatest receivers of all-time, was a stick figure. Same with AJ Green. Stick with what works and don't change.

Muscle equates longevity. You best WRs are all work out warriors. Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Andre Johnson. You have to be able to withstand the beating. Moss's style and the offenses he was in didnt really call for him to go over the middle. However, Moss is bigger than you think...muscle-wise. For the most part, Andre's injuries were because of knee injuries...which can be flukey. He hasn't had other injuries because he has a solid muscle layer.

Also, Hopkins was having some trouble getting off the line in Sunday's game. The CBs were being really physical with him. Strong WRs do not have that problem.

they're probably gonna put browner on andre since he's bigger and more physical, then shut down Hopkins with Sherman.
