Which current Rocket player do you hope to be part of the team all his career? Pick only one or two. Me: Battier = Sure, he's good trade bait, but he makes the identity of our current team, and I LOVE that identity. I would only trade him if it was to a team that can win a championship. He deserves it. Chuck Hayes = I don't think he is going anywhere cause I think he loves it here and the fact that we are the ones who gave him that chance. I absolutely LOVE this guy. Even if we get some better players I'd be ok if he stuck as a 15th man forever, because I know deep inside he is contributing his bball IQ in practice.
Chuck and Chase. I feel Chase will be here as long as RA is here. I hope RA is here for a long time as well. And someone send that man a damn monocle! He deserves it now more than ever!
Shane Battier: the guy is the true epitome of winning by any means. He's clean, he's classy, he's intelligent. I really hope Shane ends up coaching when his NBA career ends, and I really hope this team gives him a chance to run things. Chuck Hayes: another one of my favorite players, if the guy isn't a rocket for life he at least needs to win a ring.

My heart tells me Shane but my brain is telling me he will bring us the big man we sorely need this season. No one is untouchable but I'd say if Yao can walk he is here for the long haul. Who do I want to stay = Luis Scooolllllaaaaaaa

Chucks ability and mental approach to defense makes a perfect candidate for a future assistant coach. Add the time he spent with JVG/Thibodeau and this guy already has future after playing.
