Just curious as to how good/bad these seats are, for those of you in the know.

They are Section 105, Row P. I dont know what seat numbers, but they are on the aisle. How high up is Row P? Do they sound like good seats?

Here's how the seating in the Compaq Center looks. Those seats are pretty good. I've sat in section 125 a few times (which is the same, only on the opposite side) and it is a lot closer to the court (not so far behind the backboard) than it appears to be on the picture.

As for row P it would be about halfway up.

Ahhhh, good ole section 125 (same view as 105).

Time for a trip down memory lane, if you'll indulge me;)

Way back in Larry Bird's rookie year, on his first trip to Houston as an NBA player, I paid $6 (nosebleeds) and walked right down and sat in section 125. The Summit was nearly empty (I suppose I could have gotten closer but I didn't want to test my luck). The Celts stunk the year before and no one thought Larry Legend would make it in the NBA. I witnessed the "Birth of a Legend". He was so much better than anyone else on the court that night, it wasn't even funny. He pretty much did whatever he wanted to the Rockets on that night as the Celtics easily won the game.

Any wayz, They are very good seats Jay.

Ok, well a guy who has season tickets for 2 seats on Row E in section 125 has given us his tickets a few times, when he couldn't make it to a game. All I really remember was going to games against the Jazz, Warriors, 76ers and Blazers in those seats a few seasons back. The only thing significant I remember was the Jazz game. It was the first time I had seen Malone bald and I didn't recognize him at first without the rogaine hair. Hope you were indulged ;)

    Man, you're old!

    ;)

My favorite section, aside from being front row, center court, has to be Section 122 at about Row E. You have the perfect vantage point from there.

i paid a couple of hundred bucks for section 121 row A I think(front row behind the folding chairs). Those seats sucked because all I got to see was Rudy T's head all game. At least I got to talk to Calvin and Franchis before the game and hear Rudy swearing left and righ.
