A Q: HaKeem and Rox could still win if Jordan did not quit in 1994?

Dont worry we dont bite unless you say somthing off the wall... ;)

& YES i do think the ROX would have won. Why? Because we allways gave Jordan and his bulls a tuff time when they played us. That and i think Hakeen was just to good for anyone to stop. Once he got the ball it was over...

hmmm... at least it's something different than what's been here in the last month or so.

i think they would have won both still. both team's chemistry was off the chain. the final factor would have been vernon getting in a fight with jordan and both being ejected. rox in seven in both seasons. :D

We need a special forum for threads like these.

And yes Dream & Co, would of conquered the Bulls. There was too much chemistry and big man greatness for them to handle. Ten years later those Rocket champ teams look even better. People now know those nobodies who helped us win championships.

We are the only team with a winning record against Jordan.

That is correct.. As a matter of fact I remember watching the sports channel and the guys on the show saying something about how the Rockets always have the bulls number. And what a event it would be to see them in the playoffs together but unfortunately never materialized.

The Bulls would have gone down in both 94 and 95 and our championship team would have gotten the respect they deserve.

The Bulls would have no answer for our big men.

I would agree with this. And let's keep one other thing in mind. The Bulls NEVER would've won 8 titles in a row like a lot of media guys claim. They would've had nothing left in the tank about halfway through that run. Hell, they were exhausted after the three-peat.

Thank you. You remember the quote? "He is now back." Jordan was hitting game winners, and also dropped 55 on the Knicks. The only reason they would have beat us was if they had Rodman that year, but they did not. He was in San Antonio. Besides They would not have had Horace for those two years because he bolted to the Magic. They were very week up front, and Olajuwon would have destroyed them. As for the Second Three-peat Bulls, I do not think any team could have defeated them. But back to the point, we dominated the first three-peat Bulls, and we would have killed them without Horace. WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE!

Rockets would've won if we can get to the finals. The only team that had the Rockets numbers in the mid nineties was the Sonics. Once they were out of the way, we had no problems.

Could some kind soul please post the Rox' record against the Bulls in 92 and 93, along with the scores, so we all have evidence when we want to argue this point against some Jordan-jock-rider?

Max Max was one of the biggest Jordan killers. Not only defending him, but he'd score like 25-35 points seemingly every time they played.

I believe during the Bulls 1st run and into the 2nd we were 12-1 against them.

Jordan admitted in an interview that the Rockets was the only team he did not want to face since they NEVER had an answer for the Dream.

As the old saying goes Hakeem was a Dream to some....BUT A NIGHTMARE TO OTHERS!!!!!
