At the Sunday PM game, a six-some of drunks barged down into the seat(s) right next to me and began bragging about how they buy the "cheap seats" and then move down to the good seats ($60+ per). This mullet-wearing guy was in my face the whle time, telling me how smart he is not to pay full price for good seats, when he "always can just move down".

These people were extremely rude (shouting F**K a lot, yelling at the team, etc.) and I was sitting there with my wife and another couple and we were all offended.

I asked the interloper to keep it down, he didn't, so I got up and found an attendent at the top of the aisle and explained that the people sitting "down there" were not in their correct seats and were being rude and obnoxious. The attendent DID NOTHING. The game ended and "rude guy" bounded up the stairs and was screaming that he was going to "F*****G KILL" me. He tried to coerse me into going outside and made a heck of a scene. Finally, a security guard stopped him as my wife and I - and the other couple - got out of there.

I'm kind of scared to go back in there (I'm a season ticket holder) and feel the Rockets need to carefully scan people that try to "move down" without paying for those seats.

As for moving down, I did it twice last season, those rich busters bought season tickets and not coming to the game, so why can us the true fans who can't affort the expensive tickets move down? As long as we are not causing any problems, I don't see why those seats should be wasted.

Shush, dont say anything. I want to be able to move down myself when I go. :) But in all seriousness,I think that was for only the preseason. since the regular season game(1st one) is sold out Im sure there will be alot more security to prevent people from getting into others seats. However, later in the season if the games are not full,I would think you will see alot of these sneekers . A trick I use is carry a trey of food full, that way they wont ask for your ticket because you might drop the trey.:)

Moving down is okay. Yelling is okay too. But threatening someone and shouting f-bombs is pretty r****ded. The security guard should have definitely done something.

When you have problem with attendants and vendors you should contact us here at the Rockets. These people are employees of Clutch City S & E.

Why I do not agree with the threats he made you need to realize one thing...This is a sporting event...people are loud and very crude at times.
This happend at a texans game one time a father and his 3 daughters were sitting behind this guy who we sat next to.
He was standing up making all kinds of noise and the father told the guy to sit down and stop cussing....
Well this guy who was cussing and yelling, that was his season tickets and the guy who was complaining was just there for the day.
Make a long storyshort he tried to report the guy and they did not do anything.
If your gonna bring kids to a sporting event, remember that mouths run rampid at the game and this is not Church.

yep it was very easy to move down. even to the lower bowl. you shouldn't base your opinion on what someone says. you can not assume someone doesn't really have those tix. they're probablly pulling your chain. they probablly got those tix free. as for the obscenities...you should have went up and told the guard. moving down is common practice @ rox games that don't sell out. don't get all pissy about it and don't get scared about going there. 99.9% of the people there have more class than this guy. don't spazz about it...every so often crap is going to happen that'll ruin your day. and remember you could have moved...there were 9,000 empty seats.

another problem at toyota center is the upper deck glass that rises from the railings...it produces a line and causes you to lean forward just to see the game. that's only for the front seats on the upper deck...BAD SEATS.

Have you considered growing a pair?

You may think that I'm making fun of you, and I am, but only in part. The truth is that bullies will only back down if you show them that you have a spine. This doesn't mean politely asking them to stop because they see good manners as a sign of weakness. When it comes to guys like those, you've got to fight fire with fire and get loud with them. Asking the usher for help is just useless.

LoL :D That's the funniest thing I have heard today. Thanks for the laugh. I don't think you have to worry about the guy he probably won't remember you.

It's ok to get mad, and yell and cheer but to curse and drop F bombs is NOT right no matter where you are at. Have some decency and courtesy to others that are around you. Some people are just morons and sometimes there is nothing you can do about it.

Its stealing! You are taking a seat that you didnt pay for. I would think it ok to move down in your price range though. Its the ethics of it,stealing is just wrong and bad habbit to cultivate. It could lapse over into your personal life and land you into serious trouble with the law.
