A priest who taught me got fired for inappropriate conduct

    St Thomas guys remember hands on hanna. yeah fr hanna, that was his nickname. I never really thought about it though, he would rub your shoulder while talk to you, hence the nickname.

    but i'm so stupid, i'm posting this now because when he was relieved of teaching duty i thought he was sick. i didn't read the article some of my classmates posted. i was at the school picking up a transcript yesterday and i said something to the staff like, "is fr hanna okay, i heard he was sick." the lady is like yeah he is in therapy. i'm like oops and didn't say anything else.

    I was at St. Thomas from '93-'95. Sometime in '96, the principal, Fr. Cerreto was arrested for soliciting oral sex from a male vice cop in a XXX book store.

    When I was a student there, a friend of mine brought topless polaroids of his girlfriend to school (14-15 years old). For some reason, he taped a couple of them to the walls in the main 2nd story hallway. I was in class and I could see one on the wall through the door. One of the preists, I don't remember which, was walking down the hall and saw it, gave a sneaky look around to see if anyone was watching, then quickly took it down and stuffed it in his pocket. He had some bad intentions.

    Shocking... Catholics allowing a Priest called 'Hands on Hanna' to teach children for decades.

    I wonder how many kids he groomed and molested... dozens?
