Matt Carrol from the Notre Dame fighting irish!!!

A very good shooter at 6'6" and can also drive to the basket. Average 6 boards a game. A very good team player. Very smart and have good chemistry with teammates. The No.2 all time leading scorer in Pennsylvania high school basketball history only behind Kobe.

He is a very needed pure shooter for the Rockets. He is one of the most important reasons why ND, losing 3 starters from last year, is ranked No. 9 in the nation after beating 3 top 15 teams in Maryland, Marquette and Texas.

His game is like Barry's, but with a lot more rebounding abilities, better defense as well as his better all around game.

The rockets can get him in the second round, probably. I would not be surprised if he goes to the first round.

    Season Stats:

Average 19.2 pts a game (leads the team), 5.4 rpg, 45.6% 2 pts field goals, 34.8% 3 pts, 81% ft.

Who would be the No. 2 center in the league if lakers and shaq keep playing like this and not to make the playoff?

If he is still there when we pick then he really won't make that much of an impact.

Won't we not have a pick in next years draft? I know we owe a first rounder to Memphis and a second to Denver, but I don't know if the Denver pick is due this year or if we are getting any picks from somewhere else (Chicago).

Except that most good players from notre dame turn out to be busts in the nba.

I like to think that we have the perfect 2 guard on the team already. Look at Cat's line for tonight as he played perfectly within the team concept:

22 points on 8/16 shooting with 2/4 3 point shooting. Oh oh oh, and he had 6 assists, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocked shots.

It seems to me that Cuttino is backed up by Steve Francis (he can play a bit), and James Posey (a good defender).

Now why would we draft a 2 again? If anything, the rockets might draft a 4/5 to play garbage minutes behind Yao Ming when Cato leaves someday.

Benard King of Texas A&M would make a nice pick. He is a 6'6 SG who can play PG, SG, or even SF. He is a great leader and is one of the most clutch players I have ever seen play. And I have seen him play many times in the last 4 years, because I go to every home game.
