I saw this really great independent film on The Sundance Channel tonight entitled "Thursday" from 1998. It's about this drug dealer from LA who moved to Houston to clean up his life, until an old friend comes by for a visit 4 years later. If you liked Pulp Fiction or Resevoir Dogs, you'll love this movie. The writing and direction are superb. It's violent and funny yet still original. The talented and handsome Thomas Jane (Deep Blue Sea) gives an excellent performance as the ex-dealer and Aaron Eckhart (Erin Brockovich) plays his friend. Also appearing are Mickey Rourke and Polina Porizkova (nude). If you have the Sundance Channel (69 on Warner Digital Cable), they will rebroadcast this on 11/19 at 11:30PM, 11/25 at 2:00AM and 11/29 at 8:00PM. But I strongly suggest you rent this movie the next time you're at the video store. Here is a trailer for it, but like most trailers these days it gives away too much of the plot so don't pay too close attention: http://www.totaleclips.com/reel/splash.asp?ClipID=e11114
