Maybe someone has already suggested this. If not, I would like to motion that all bets requiring bans be forgiven. Any objections?
I am not in on the bet, but I am not in favor of welching in any manner, if you took the bet and you lost...own up.... That is just the way bets work, otherwise...why even have them? DD
Let's bring back TJ and Basso! Everybody has an opinion, just like they have a ... They provide outrageous posts and fun. It's a free country. They can believe what they want. No bans for D&D bets.
As far as I'm concerned, it is up to the better. (as in the two that TTB, originally) I agreed with Sammy's bet, and I haven't posted in here. Again, it's a matter of respect. I'd expect Sammy to do it if McCain had won. Besides, SamFisher deserves something for his tirades. As I've said, I'm a moderate conservative. It's mainly why I threw my thread up as a last act of defiance. Let's see what Dem's can do. I'm personally not optimistic, but hey! Anything can happen. Ball has been, other than filibuster, thrown entirely in y'all's court. Let's see how well you handle it... And as far as friendship? One of the main reason's I didn't like BJ's bet in the first place. I'll be in the hangout. If y'all want to find me, I'm one of the easiest people to do so. But I'm going to respect my exile. I wouldn't want to see anyone leave, but it's up to whomever made the bets. I would at least cash in and make them take a sig of the winner's choosing though. Something like 'I bet McCain would win and all I got was this lousy signature'. Actually I prefer not seeing political sigs of any kind...Maybe 'The Jazz aren't THAT bad, seriously, come on guys.'

No! we do not negotiate with ahhhhhhh... They are either with us or ahhhhhhhh.... seriously, I didn't think anyone took the bet. I would miss TJ like the U.S misses the soviet union.
