assuming there is a time machine that could take you back to see an event as it happened, what is an event that occurred before your lifetime that you would like to have witnessed?
I was born in 1986, and regret not being alive during the 60's and 70's. Also: Women's Rights convention in 1848 Being able to see/talk to Darwin, Henry David Thoreau, Jesus, Clara Barton, Bob Marley, Gandhi, Tolstoy, Emerson, Plato, Langston Hughes, and Soren Kierkegaard, among others. I would kill to meet these people or go to events they attended.
El Grito - Mexican Independence "shout" by Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla at Dolores, Guanajuato. Uhhh... he asked for "an event"... not... MANY... pick ONE and go with that one... just ONE DAY or ONE EVENT at the convention... no? And, uh, props on the mad PhotoShop SkiLLz, madam.
A concierto by one of the great composers Bach, Beethoven or Mozart during their time. The era hundreds of years before the radio and phonograph. Imaging not living with music at all. Then seeing and hearing a full grand scale orchestra for the first time at its highest level, mostly reserved for the wealthy. Might have been mesmerizing for some who had the "privilege" to attend something like that. The first Rockets game Opening of the Playboy Mansion
building of the pyramids, gladiators at the colosseum, all good stuff. but i think i'd probably go back to the time of the dinosaurs.
Wednesday, March 7, 2001 I would chose these numbers: 51-36-10-45-31-37 Or February 11, 1990 Bet my life savings on Buster Douglas
Lucky for you that Jesus is God and thus will understand and answer your questions in Modern American English (but it would certainly be cooler if he answered in Modern Public School English English)
