A Military Cover-Up? You're Kidding!

The one I found particularly disturbing was the woman who was raped and was then charged with adultery (which is punishable in the military; up to a year in prison and a dishonorable discharge) because even though she wasn't married, the guy who raped her was.

 

female service members crying wolf is also a big problem in the military. There should be a documentary on that to.

 

Adultery being criminalized in the military is a pretty stupid policy to begin with.

I dunno. . . .it is a morale issue more than a moral one.
I remember watching JarHEad . .. when the guy found out his wife was cheating back home.
Nothing they can do about a civilian *****ing up morale but they can do something about it in their own units.

You want your soldiers in their best mental shape as well in the battle field
keep their heads in the game . . so to speak.
sex and things like that can complicate things . . .

I can see them having an interest in restricting it. . .

without having to worry if the FELLOW SOLDIER next to them
